Welcome to Gerisa Translate. Many projects begin with translating documents from the language in which they were written into English, whether you are interested in the contents of correspondence written long ago or translating documents as a first step in creating a family history.

 

I am an experienced translator of German, Hebrew and Yiddish. Correspondence written in all three languages are included in Missing Pieces: A Family Story Retold, published in 2020. A description of Missing Pieces and a companion memoir entitled Our Story: Martha & Pinkas Isaak can be found on page 2 (Our Books).

 

The fee and time required to complete a translation project depends upon many factors, including the condition and complexity of the original documents.
